Birkaina-class ultracarrier by VoughtVindicator Birkaina-class ultracarrier by VoughtVindicator
Finished, very refined version of [link] not much else to say apart from that it's based on the hull of the Freedom Ship, albeit shortened from 1300+ meters to about 950.

Acts as the flagship of my NS Navy, last time I counted has like 27,000 SAM missiles on both lateral launch systems and rotary VLS, one massive radar lifted from the sea-based X-band platforms, thousands of planes onboard and can base non-naval planes in her. To ease up on logistics, the vessel even has its own small hydroponics section, although it still requires often flights from cargo planes and cargo vessels when on extense missions. The ship itself has unlimited range, though, with eight nuclear reactors powering up the many azipods below.

Scale and format belong to Shipbucket.

for the longest time i've thought "How would you go about militarizing the Freedom Ship. this is that answer, and it's awe inspiring.

some body needs to design a 2500 meter battleship with 50 48 inch guns and whatever else that will fit on the hull

I got auto cad on my laptop and I'm working on a ship with 8x4 100" guns. Also with 16" and smaller ones.

Eight reactors seems a bit much. Even a ship this size would be better off with four reactors, likely 1 Gigawatt or more apiece. You get any more than that and you're just asking for trouble when it comes to maintenance.
That, and you're eating up valuable storage space with all of the lateral launch systems. Storage space you need for such a large vessel, especially if you want that "unlimited range," aspect - and especially since it looks as though the ability for this thing to do any sort of UNREP is in short supply. Sure, you can do a massive VERTREP, but you'd likely have to pull in just for fuel onload, unless you plan on VERTREPing that too, which means more time alongside.

950 meters.. on the sea.... maneuvering... impressive if that would work.

Well, it works in the widest definition of the term, though it has a lot of maneuver engines (though after a few redesigns it's no longer covered in azipods) to at least help it around
