Mameluk-class dreadnought by VoughtVindicator Mameluk-class dreadnought by VoughtVindicator
This is another dreadnought for nationstates drawn in the shipbucket.com scale to answer the question that probably has popped up in more than one of you, "Does this guy ever finishes his shipbucket drawings?"

Well, this is far from being entirely mine. Created with :icondemonlordrazgriz: through a discussion in one of the nationstates IRCs, we created this thing to serve as the flagship of the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition (MEC) Navy. The MEC of Nationstates employs an all-stealth navy, from the smaller Zumwalt and Fletcher-class guided missile destroyers and frigates to large North Carolina and Essex-class guided missile battleships and aircraft carriers. Their ships all posess that clean, nifty stealth look to them and their systems.

It contrasts heavily with Birkanian Navy dreadnoughts in shape and functionality, with it being more of an arsenal dreadnought meant to act as a surface combattant. It can hold and deploy a small air wing of 24 VTOLs, alongside a similar number of helicopters for support and combat roles (plus one gigantic cargo chopper) from the small flight deck located on its back, while its bow is entirely dedicated to nothing but missiles, and more missiles. Posessing several sensitive sonars below the waterline it has side-firing torpedo tubes for the launch of Shkval torpedoes. This is hardly what you'd call an anti-submarine weapon but it makes for a nice terminal anti-torpedo defense. Several stealthed Goalkeeper 30mm CIWS line up the deck for terminal missile defense, too, and it is propelled by powerful pumpjets. Lastly, it can deploy a high altitude radar picket balloon to act as AEW to spot targets beyond the reach of its powerful SPY-3 AEGIS sensor suite.

Done between DLR and me. He did the hull shape and VLS/flight deck arrangement, I modified it so it wouldn't explode like a nuclear bomb if one of its VLS cells was hit by an enemy missile, and added things like the hull numbering, below-waterline elements and red firehoses to help in case of fire. Used reference guns from his North-Carolina-class guided missile battleship, and the gun portions of the Goalkeeper come from the über shipbucket parts sheet, alongside the Firescout UAV and the NH90 helicopter. The large Whale Shark cargo chopper was done by him, Va-25V VTOL interceptor was made by me. We both did the radar balloon.

Shipbucket belongs to itself
Middle Eastern Coalition belongs to EA
